Carrie Underwood established C.A.T.S. Foundation — Checotah Animal, Town, and School Foundation, to help with causes in her hometown area of Checotah, Oklahoma. "My hometown is extremely supportive of me and I feel blessed to be able to create something as a way of giving back; to say thank you," said Carrie.

Established in 2009, the C.A.T.S. Foundation will help with general causes, needs and services in the area of Checotah to directly impact the community.

Nestled on nearly 500 acres in the farmlands of Georgia, Camp Southern Ground is the passion project of GRAMMY®-Award winning artist Zac Brown. Inspired by his own experiences as a camp counselor, Zac's vision is to create a state-of-the-art facility whose programs will serve children ages 7-17 with both typical and special needs. Set to open in Spring 2014, the camp will have activities that will challenge, educate, and inspire children with diverse abilities and from all socioeconomic backgrounds, races, and religions. Among the many traditional camp activities that will foster youth development and create teachable moments for campers, plans are in place to align certain elements of the facility with the latest innovative therapies and technology for children affected by neurobehavioral disorders.

Zac has long recognized the necessity for every child to have access to the best resources to be able to grow and succeed, and accordingly, Camp Southern Ground will be a place for children and their families to learn healthy life skills through an advanced program involving superior nutrition, physical exercise, and the latest practices in therapy — administered by a knowledgeable staff.

After watching a close friend's 2-year-old daughter fight and succumb to cancer in 2003, Toby Keith dedicated his Foundation mission to building the OK Kids Korral, a friendly and safe environment to brighten the spirits of children suffering from cancer and their families during treatment.

"In my job, you get to go to a lot of places and see a lot of things, but there's not much in my world that's more gratifying or important than helping these families", Toby Keith said.

The OK Kids Korral, slated to open in 2013, will provide a no-cost, relaxing environment in which patients and their families can spend time with others sharing the same experiences, as well as focus on the well-being of their children. Toby has been working since 2003 to make his vision a reality. For the last six years the 2011 American Country Music Awards "Artist of the Decade" has been raising money through the Toby Keith Foundation to help support the construction of his dream.

After losing a close friend to breast cancer in 2004, Jason Aldean has dedicated his time and music to help raise funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The 2011 American Country Awards Artist of the Year has encouraged fans to support the organization and its mission to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening, and treatment. With two daughters, Jason hopes that a cure for breast cancer is on the horizon.

Through his partnership with Tickets-for-Charity, fans have generated over $20,000 in donations to Komen for the Cure. In addition, for the past six years, he has put on a Rockin' the Ribbon tribute Concert for the Cure™. "October is a big month for raising money and awareness, and I have to thank my fans for doing their part!" said Jason.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure^® is the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested more than $1.9 billion since inception in 1982.

Eric and his family have been passionate about raising awareness and funds for The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) since Eric's mother was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 52. As an adult, learning to live life monitoring sugar and carbohydrate intake, blood sugar levels and taking multiple insulin shots per day is very difficult. But each year 13,000 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

Since its founding in 1970, JDRF has awarded more than $1.6 billion to diabetes research. The goal of JDRF research is to improve the lives of all people affected by T1D by accelerating progress on the most promising opportunities for curing, better treating, and preventing T1D. Past JDRF efforts have helped to significantly advance the care of people with this disease, and have expanded the critical scientific understanding of T1D. JDRF will not rest until T1D is fully conquered.

St. Jude Target House serves a vital role providing long-term housing for families whose children are undergoing treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Beyond a cost-free housing option, the St. Jude Target House seeks to provide a safe, stress free environment for the child and his or her family to get away from their troubles for a few hours.

Brad Paisley and wife Kimberly made the home even more special in 2009 by lending their design skills to create the Paisley Lodge. The room reflects Brad's music and down-home country style, making a friendly and entertaining environment in which kids and their families can find solace and comfort.
